The Scott Cao 17E violins are available in the sizes 4/4 and 3/4. This instrument is a very good choice for its' price. For top, back, sides and neck, European wood was used. All 17E models are varnished in a slight "antique" look. The instrument will be set up in our workshop for optimal performance (obligatory).

The Scott Cao 17E violins are available in the sizes 4/4 and 3/4. This instrument is a very good choice for its' price. For top, back, sides and neck, European wood was used. All 17E models are varnished in a slight "antique" look. The instrument will be set up in our workshop for optimal performance (obligatory), consisting at least of:
- correcting or replacing the nut
- checking the tuning pegs
- planing, shaping and polishing the fingerboard
- correcting the bridge or fitting a new bridge (violin-makers quality)
- fitting a sound-post
- fitting a set of Dominant (Thomastik) strings or similar European strings.
- optimal regulation of sound and tone.
Together with this instrument you can order: a case, a wooden bow, a carbon bow and of course a shoulder rest.
